the property itself there are some things to do. During the
spring and fall there is a great pond near the house where you can swim
or relax on the water. There are several fields to strool and
little creeks to wander by. In the colder months with a little
snow there are great hills for sledding. If you are in need of
something more adventureous and need to get away from "getting away"
the local area offers some things to make your stay more fun and
memorable. One of the favorite activites of the owner is to go to
the local farms and get fresh foods to make a meal and bake a pie.
Further out there are antiques shops and other local stores.
We are also near Cooperstown and the baseball hall of fame.
The Howe Caverns are not to far off either. See a map and
